Marriage
What is Marriage?
Marriage is a beautiful sacrament in which a man and a woman are united in a covenant of love for life. With God’s grace, spouses are called to love and support one another and to build a family founded on faith, reflecting the love of Christ for His Church.
Preparation
It is a joy for us to accompany you in this important step of your life. Marriage preparation will help you strengthen your relationship, grow in your faith, and understand the meaning of the commitment you will make before God.
The Diocese of San Jose requires that the preparation process begin at least six months before the desired wedding date.
After completing the initial application and meeting with one of our priests, you may begin your preparation and, once approved, reserve your wedding date.
