Our Lady of Guadalupe has a wide variety of ministries and groups that enrich the spiritual life of our community. Through prayer, music, service, formation and fellowship, everyone has the opportunity to place their gifts at the service of God and of others.
We are a community of young adults committed to living the Gospel, growing in faith and walking together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Since 1985, Cristo Vive Jóvenes has accompanied generations of young people, offering a space for formation, friendship, service and encounter with God.
One of the pillars of our ministry is the Retiro Camping Cristo Vive Jóvenes, a weekend experience that invites participants to step away from the pace of daily life to encounter themselves, one another and God. Through prayer, reflection, fellowship and a variety of activities, the retreat fosters growth in the personal, family and spiritual dimensions.
More than a retreat, Cristo Vive Jóvenes seeks to be a spiritual family where every young adult can discover God’s love, strengthen their faith and find a place to serve the Church and the community with joy.
Meetings: Fridays, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Who can take part? Young adults ages 18 to 30.
The Grupo de Oración Cristo Vive is a parish ministry of the Charismatic Renewal dedicated to prayer, evangelization, formation and service. Through prayer assemblies, Bible courses, healing Masses and spiritual retreats, it seeks to strengthen one’s relationship with Jesus Christ and to accompany those who wish to grow in faith.
In addition to serving actively in parish life, the ministry offers a welcoming environment where individuals and families can experience God’s love and the transforming power of prayer.
Prayer assembly: Wednesdays, 7:00 PM
Healing Mass: Second Wednesday of each month, 7:00 PM

We are a Catholic youth community inspired by the example of St. Francis of Assisi. As young Franciscans, we seek to live the Gospel with joy, fraternity and service, convinced that God calls us to be witnesses of His love in today’s world.
We believe that every young person has a place in the Church and a mission that God has entrusted to them. That is why we walk together to grow in faith, strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ, and bring the peace, goodness and joy of the Gospel to those who need it most.
Franciscan Youth (JuFra) is a fraternity of young people ages 18 to 30, founded in 2008. Since then we have been a family where we share our faith, learn from one another, serve others and discover that following Christ is an adventure that transforms life.
Meetings: Tuesdays, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, McDonnell Hall.

This ministry animates the celebration of Holy Mass through music, helping the community to pray and to take full part in the liturgy. In addition to sharing the gift of song, its members strengthen friendship, faith and a spirit of service.
Rehearsal: Saturdays, 6:30 PM, McDonnell Hall.

Nocturnal Adoration is a ministry dedicated to accompanying Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament through the night in an atmosphere of silence, prayer and adoration. On the third Saturday of each month, adorers gather for a profound spiritual experience that strengthens their relationship with Christ in the Eucharist and offers prayer for the needs of the Church and of the world.
When: Third Saturday of each month
Holy Mass: 6:30 PM
Adoration: 7:30 PM to 5:00 AM
The Holy Family Initiative seeks to strengthen family life through faith, fellowship and spiritual growth. Throughout the year it organizes banquets and family gatherings where parents, children, grandparents, relatives and friends can share, strengthen their bonds and grow together in faith.
Inspired by the example of the Holy Family of Nazareth, this ministry encourages families to live love, unity and service within the parish community.
Family banquets: September, November, January and March.

The Filipino American Community (FilAm) of Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrates the richness of Filipino Catholic faith and traditions, taking an active part in parish life. Throughout the year it organizes and supports celebrations such as Simbang Gabi, Flores de Mayo and other festivities that reflect the beauty of the spirituality, culture and devotion of the Filipino people.

El Shaddai is a Catholic Charismatic Renewal community that gathers to praise God, to pray and to grow in faith. Guided by the Holy Spirit, its members strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ while living and sharing the Gospel in community.
Meetings: Saturdays, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, after the 5:00 PM Mass.

For more than forty years, the Proclaimers of the Word Ministry has prepared those who have the privilege of proclaiming Sacred Scripture during the liturgy. Each week its members gather to pray, study and practice the readings, striving to ensure that the Word of God is proclaimed with reverence, clarity and love.
Meetings: Fridays, 7:00 PM.
The Children’s Choir "Amigos de Jesús" has as its mission to help children fall in love with Christ through music, prayer and service in the liturgy. It seeks to foster their spiritual growth and to form a community where children can develop their talents in the service of God and of the Church.
The choir sings at the 11:00 AM Mass on the second and third Sunday of each month, and also takes part in catechesis activities and various parish events.
